YHB Charitable Endowment
YHB Charitable Endowment
In 2002, the YHB Charitable Endowment was formed with the goal of offering an additional tool for giving back to our communities. Some YHB clients want to take a long-term approach to philanthropy, and as a result, our charitable entity was formed to facilitate the philanthropic interests of our clients. Clients establish and name their own Donor Advised Funds to simplify their charitable giving. Clients control how and when they give to the charities of their choice and maintain control over their investments. Their funds can grow, perpetuating specific values and developing into a family legacy of generosity.
The firm contributes a portion of its annual profits to a donor-advised fund, where our employees recommend quarterly donations to charities of their choice, including:
- Alzheimer’s Association Connecticut Chapter
- Americares
- Bridge Family Center
- Foodshare
- Jude’s Children Research Hospital
- Leadership Greater Hartford
- Hole in the Wall Gang
- Covenant House
- YMCA of Greater Hartford
- Village for Families and Children
- Pure Water for the World
